In Memory of Rosie

Rosie 21/10/99 - 12/6/10

Rosie - our beautiful baby Boxer rejected by her first home all those years ago - went into rescue at 10 weeks old. Their loss & very much our gain

At first you found it hard to settle, like a little rosebud tightly closed, it took you time to realise you were home for good, no one would ever reject you again. In time the little rosebud began to open out, petal by petal until the gorgeous perfect red rose that was you Rosie, emerged.

They said you were too hard to housetrain in your first home. Wee poppet you were not well. It took 6 weeks antibiotics to clear a nasty cystitis infection & then you were house trained overnight

All those happy memories of long walks together, you loved walking in the sea, wading up to your chest in water, loved to bring home long strands of seaweed, your "prize". Long walks together, then with Katie & Harvey. A true ambassador of your breed.*

As time has went on the hurt eases a bit, some days i miss you so much. A few months after your dad died we lost you. We hope he was there when you passed. He always said that you were his "little love"

Heaven must be much enriched with you there poppet.

Run wild & free with the other Boxer angels*

Love you forever precious girl

xxx

Re: In Memory of Rosie

Those are really heartfelt words of love. Never "knew" you Rosie, but your people loved you very much - run free.

((((HUGS)))) Velvet on the anniversary of Rosie's passing.
