2nd of January

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well and had a lovely new years day I'm off again today thankfully so got shopping to and going to take the tree down. Had a lovely dinner at my folks house yesterday and went over the road to see my sister as she has a suspected fracture on her foot but hasn't had it plastered yet. the A&E docs want her to go back on Monday before they decide if they are going to put a stookie on!She tripped on the last stair at my mums on new years eve and she hadn't even started celebrating the new year at that point!!

Re: 2nd of January

Last few days of the boys holiday and I'm trying to juggle work/housework/kids as per usual. Need to pop into town to get Sebi some new PJs, he's gone through the knee of his lovely fleecy Boden PJs which still have lots of life in them apart from the massive hole in the knee

Whilst the tree is still up I need to sort the top floor store cupboard and get all the unwanted bits and pieces over to the CP shop and then organise the shelves a bit more tidily.

Weather here's dull but at the moment it's dry. Have a nice Wednesday everyone!

Hi all,
I've had a 'sorting out' day too Yola and have been through drawers to try and rationalise things a bit. Too often I pull something out in the morning and realize that it needs ironing....!
Hope your sister is OK Pamela. Sounds painful.
We are off to near Birmingham tomorrow to see OH's family- keep your fingers crossed that the A14 and M6 behave.

Re: 2nd of January

Evening all!

I've been spending most of the day sorting out various little bits for OH's 60th birthday which is next Monday. I did find him what I hope will be the perfect present, but he won't be able to do it until February at the earliest so I needed to get a couple of things for him to unwrap on the day and a card.

Dora is still having the occasional accident indoors even though we are trying to take her outside at every opportunity, thank goodness we are promised a bit of a dry spell - let's hope they are right! She is also still being a pain at night and we are getting roughly 4 - 5 hours sleep at the most. I felt quite poorly yesterday although I think it was only over-tiredness but I thought I was going down with a lurgybug but luckily nothing seems to have developed.

Pamela - I hope your sister can get some action taken for her foot soon, that must be sooooo painful.

Good luck with the early Spring clearing out Yola!

Hope your journey goes well CS.

Well done with the new job Jeanette.

I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year celebrations.

Well done Jeanette, I'm glad a job has finally come your way. 12 months is a long time who knows what opportunity might present itself during this time
