Has she been to the vet to rule out any illness that might be causing this behavior? Cats are incredibly good at hiding sickness. How long since the other cat, her friend, died, was that when this started? |

It was almost immediately after he died. But would she hide that long. Its been months. She is such a sweet cat. Very loving. The others even will attack her under the bed from time to time. My hubby thinks she is missing Uggy. But I just dont know. Someone told him to get her some pills for depression. I dont know. I think its something else. |

Hello and welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear about your Cat that hides under the bed. It does sound as if she is missing Uggy. I have never heard of this type of situation before but would be inclined to say the same as Eileen re the vets visit to rule out anything physical. They would also be able to advice on things to help her relax. Keep us posted on your progress. |

Agree with all the above - vets visit Also if the other cats attack her under the bed, could you not just close the bedroom door for a few hours a day, maybe that way she would come out into the room + not hide continually under the bed? |
