I thought I'd seen it all....then I met Ninja.....This cat defies all logic. For the past several weeks I've been finding the trash (which is kept in a closed cupboard) spilled out of the trashcan but still inside the cupboard. I just assumed that I was missing the trashcan. I have the door to the cupboard blocked by a heavy box to keep the pets out of the garbage. Just above the cupboard with the trashcan is a drawer where I keep moxie's brushes and nail trimmers and other grooming supplies. I have also been randomly finding this drawer open just about 6 inches. Well tonight, I discovered why this has been happening. I heard some rustling in the kitchen so decided to investigate. As I walk around the corner, I see that drawer start to open all by itself. Shocked, I just continued to watch and low and behold, out popped Ninja. He had crawled into the drawer from the cabinet below. He climbed halfway into the drawer, used his back legs to push the drawer open, then climbed out of the drawer and shut it behind him!!! If I had had my camera, the sight of that kitten in a drawer was just too much. I have NO idea how he got into the cabinet to begin with. The box was in place! This cat defies the rules of the universe on a daily basis. Maybe his heart will do the same!
