Bernie Update

Had the cats at the vets this morning, Milly was not pleased at having her booster so all other checks and nail clipping were off the cards

Bernie has lost another 200grams since January, which isnt alarming. The vet can now clearly feel the mass in his abdomen and he has a grade 3 heart murmur as well now. He said he'd like to know about what is actually going on with him but agrees with me that exploration is not going to do Bernie any good. So once again we leave him be, as long as he is still having quality of life, which he is for now.

Re: Bernie Update

Thanx every one, he really is doing remarkably well considering they thought he may only have had a few months almost a year ago.
I am dreading the ending though, it's never nice. All I hope is that I can recognise when it's time before it gets horrible and distressing for him.
