A moral dilemma

We have a `reverse role` household. Jenny earns all the cash and I do a bit around the house.

Since my injury I have not been able to iron so Jenny has found someone to do it. The results are excellent and meet my own standards .

Now the problem-when I`m better should I do the ironing or let things stay as they are and spend more time on my computer?

If Jenny insists you have to do the ironing Steph, just make sure she'll allow you some Catsey time!

How is the leg now?

Re: A moral dilemma

hmmmmmmmmm that's a real tricky one! I hate ironing and do as little as I can - all down to getting stuff out of the tumble dryer straight away and hanging things up/folding things so they don't get more creased, oh, and when my OH was working, buying non-iron shirts though this is not an issue now he has retired.

I always burn myself - don't seem to be able to avoid it so if I were in your shoes I'd let the person continue to do it, you're giving her a job and in the early days when you are out of plaster but your leg is still needing to get stronger, standing ironing wouldn't do it any good I'm sure !

Re: A moral dilemma

Angie has come up with some excellent suggestions to avoid the ironing!!
(I loathe it myself..!), and as the person meets your standard, why not? Has Jenny expressed an opinion?
