Sunday Thread

Bright and sunny here. Will be pottering around in the house this morning and off to lunch at some celeb. chef's gastropub. Thankfully it has a huge garden and is in the middle of the Berkshire countryside so the boys can have the run of the gardens there.

Cats are all still snoozing, sadly it's just us that get woken at 6.30am on a Sunday by bouncing kids!! Sebastian does seem in a much better mood today so fingers crossed for a peaceful lunch outing!!

Have a lovely Sunday all

Re: Sunday Thread

kuan yin is going to get spayed and microchipped tomorrow morning (monday at 8:30am) which means i will not sleep a wink tonight and spend the whole time cuddling her hoping she'll realize i love her and i'm not abandoning her..the vet INSISTS i leave her over night and not see her until tuesday morning..i've never been a day a way from her since i got her (at four weeks old..stray)..it's probably going to be tougher on me than her since she does everything with me and is my best friend. i'll probably write a sappy thread about it after i drop her off..i know it's for the best but i have so much guilt about her being in that cage all day and night at the hospital...

Re: Sunday Thread

Tink don't worry about her too much Patch was neutered by the CPL and they took him away 3:30 wednesday afternoon and brought him back 3:30 thursday afternoon (although he was neutered on the thursday and came home the same day they took him the day before to make it easier for us all). He is not really a people cat and we worried soooo much that he would hate it etc. but he was fine and came back on thursday just like his normal self. I know it's a bigger op for a girly but she'll be fine

Anyway..tis sunny here Am going to get my dad to order me some piggy stuff online, then I'm hoping to go to B&Q or similar but doubt that will happen. so yep :P

Hope you all have a great day

Re: Sunday Thread

Morning all!

It's a lovely bright, sunny morning once again and it's hard to believe that we have been forecast heavy rain for tomorrow

I'll be spending an easy Sunday today as I'm still being bothered with my backache I think some sun therapy will be called for after lunch!

Yola
~ enjoy your lunch, it sounds a lovely place!

Tink
~ we all worry when our lovely cats go to be spayed, it's only natural, but I'm sure she will be fine and after a few days she will be back to her usual self again.. Looking forward to your "sappy thread" tomorrow!

Have a lovely Sunday all!

Re: Sunday Thread

Lol *hugs* Jac, I understand the day confusion thing all too well

Well after my epic apple clean up yesterday my back is very grumpy with me so today I have to rest it and hope it's not going to crap out on me again. Such joy.

It was lovely and sunny this morning but just looked out the window and it's now overcast with some mean looking clouds so looks like we are in for some rain.

Hope everyone has a good day

Re: Sunday Thread

Sunny and unseasonably cool again...October weather!! Only 64F now, might make 70 if we're lucky...brrr! Leia has given up on the chilly porch and is spending the day napping in the sun in the back room...smart girl. On the way back from the market found a lovely fern in a hanging basket that someone had put out with the trash...it has been rescued!
Mags: hope the back improves
Tink: try not to worry, easy to say, I know, but she'll be OK and home soon!
Grete: know all about rotting apples and bees and wasps hanging about them; the people across the alley had an untended apple tree and it was awful...the smell ! Hope the back's OK
Yola: have a lovely lunch, you deserve it!
Jac: senior moment?
Enjoy the day, all!
