Isn't she just beautiful! I actually put ice cubes in the cats water bowls yesterday and they just fished them out and had them all over the house so I won't be doing that again! |

These ice packs you can get for picnic hampers (like chemical coolant with a plastic outer) are great when wrapped in a towel . . . the cats can lounge on them and get cool without suffering frostbite |

Awwwww Kizzy does look so sweet, but you can tell she looks all hot and bothered (bless). Love the ideas for helping the cats to cool off and Yola that does sound like a really good idea . |

That's such a cool idea Yola! I actually have one of those in the freezer atm - we used it for MIL when one of her knees swelled up. I'll see if Kizzy likes it! |

Poor Kizzy! Love that second pic of her, the closeup; she does look a bit unhappy but resigned, bless her! That's an excellent idea of Yola's! Leia doesn't mind the heat any more than I do, fortunately. It's 28C here now before lunch. |

I did try the ice pack, but Kizzy wasn't interested in it! I also cooled my hands down and tried to stroke her - she didn't care much for that either, and she's generally a girl who loves to be stroked. She preferred to stretch out on the dining room table! |
