That is good news Eileen! It looks like you got her to the vet just in time before it developed too bad..... It's a good idea to have the anti-inflamatory meds on standby anyway, just in case... 14 pounds ........ that is one big girl you have there! I bet you know it when she curls up on your lap! |

She's doing well Eileen (fingers crossed, touch wood). Putting some weight on and no runs in nearly 2 weeks, gave her a tiny amount of the HiLife cat food today (min 50% fish) as she is so hungry even after her fish, it's just not enough for her, so we will take it very slowly with trying this. |

Thanks, Moli! The thing is, I've been blessed with unusually healthy cats over the years: rarely if ever sick, so I tend to go into panic mode simply because I'm not used to it and over react! |

Oh Eileen, my "Little Melba" weighed about 7lbs., she ate well but never put any weight on. Delighted to hear of leia progress, will keep fingers crossed that she continues to improve. Kath |
