That's a heavy snowfall Eileen. Very pretty to look at. But I think we're all agreed enough is enough. I see that DC has ground to a halt and is calling it "Snowmageddon"! |

I've just seen the weather conditions in DC on the news. Good grief! it's horrendous, loads of homes are without power, there's more on the way and then a heavy frost to follow! The worst weather for 90 years they say. Hope you've got enough supplies in to manage during this weather DM! |

It's the worst storm in my memory, and I was born here! Fortunately we knew it was coming, so I'm OK foodwise, did a big shop and have Leia's favorite food; may be snowbound till Wednesday/Thursday. Street never plowed, buses not running, and sidewalk has about 24" of snow, so will be a while. Thank God for the computer to keep me in touch with people! |
