Thursday I think

Morning all, I am currently waiting for a connection to York at Peterborough station which is one of THE coldest places! It was an early start hence the thread title, I think it is Thursday but I'm having the sort of morning where I'm not totally sure!
It is bright and sunny and the fens looked quite pretty for a change.
Hope everyone is well and you all have a good day. Keep your fingers crossed that the trains behave for me !

Re: Thursday I think

Train stations are just the worst places to be when it's cold - they always seem a good 10 degrees colder whatever the weather!

It's a chilly one here too, but I had the car heater for company Boys safely delivered at school - Domi's boarding as they have a torch-lit manhunt game in the grounds tonight and he wanted to stay over and my lovely cleaner Magda was busy at home when I got back into town (I love coming back to a clean house).

Lots to get through today at work, we've got a blog up and running on our website publishing custom-written news stories so we're going to be emailing our customer and prospect list with this today plus I have to prep some questions for an interview we're doing tomorrow.

Out tonight at Pizza Express with a bunch of Mums from Sebi's year group which I'm really looking forward to

Re: Thursday I think

Morning CS, Yola - yes, bitter here this morning, but sunny and bright. Hope you're a bit warmer on the train by now CS!

I'm indoors again with two fleeces on and two pairs of socks etc. Still bunged up - going to get OH to take me down to the chemist so I can speak to the pharmacist and see if she can recommend ear drops - I'm not in any pain with it, otherwise I'd be off to the GP. I'm not feeling ill, although I am now developing a real barking cough which is exhausting. The snowdrops are out, daffodils too in sunny places and I want to be out with OH and Monty, but just can't. Still indoors, reading the Kindle and cat cuddling isn't a bad option.

Monty is booked in to be castrated next Thursday.

OK off now to boil my head in the steamer! Have a good day folks, keep warm.

Re: Thursday I think

Well yesterday I finally got round to sending Angie a couple of photos for the thank yous to Christopher and Carolyn (hope they arrived ok Angie) and today I'll be sending something to Elaine for the memorial fund donation in memory of Eileen. I hope both projects are doing well!

I'm keeping myself busy with crochet, doing a cushion which was driving me mad as the leaves just wouldn't seem to work, I've finally cracked that but now I'm having trouble with the flower buds Ah well, keeps me busy

I'm off to do some floor cleaning in a mo. One of the cats has peed over the edge of the litter tray and it stinks in there! OH can't smell anything but then he has nasal polyps and he always had a poor sense of smell anyway

Sorry you're feeling so lousy Angie, hope the pharmacist can help you!

Welcome back Leesy
