Now i'm sure i am going to be laughed at but at the time it was quite scary
We took Malaika for a walk yesterday morning by the river and it was very foggy, obviously meaning we couldn't see very far in front of us.
Malaika ran off having a good time and all of a sudden we heard a man bawling and shouting " Come back, come back !" We were unable to see anything but assumed he had an unfriendly Dog.
We hurredly got Malaika back on her lead just as a big Black shaggy horned shape leapt over the fence with a dog in hot pursuit.
It turned out to be either some sort of exotic sheep or ram and had a friend who soon followed. Fortunately the man got his dog back and we picked Malaika up and set of at a brisk pace, bearing in mind the horns
The sheep ran to catch us up, all the while butting each other. We were able to lose them in the fog.
Now i know they probably wouldn't have butted us but we just weren't sure.
We stopped at a nearby cottage to ask if she knew anyone with sheep matching their discription ( there are no sheep around usualy ) She thought they had probably come from across the river and knew of someone to ring who hopefuly would find the owner.
CM you probably know what type of sheep they were.
They were very shaggy and black and i'm pretty sure that each had one horn twisted downwards and one up.
