I made a mistake thinking Chloe would be happier with a friend. She obviously has hated her from day one and cannot accept Misty in the house. Two females obviously do not get along. Would a male cat in the house calm the situation or make it worse??????? |

They sound very much like Leia and my late Patches. They didn't like one another; just tolerated "That other cat". Wouldn't sleep together or share my lap. There was rarely any hissing or spitting...I guess you could say they were distantly polite to one another, but there was really no interaction between them. This went on for 6 years, until Patches died in her sleep. I have no suggestions, unfortunately; I just learned to live with it. Both of them, incidentally, got along very well with Dandy, my Singapura boy...played, shared laps, etc., so it wasn't that either of them diliked other cats, they just disliked one another! |
