Gingers have no advantage with camouflage- poor things!
Don't they just adore long grass though.

What a lovely lurking tiger!

I also think it's impossible for a ginger and white cat (my Pip) to be "invisible" - he does manage it sometimes though. Where's Pip? I think, and there he is, right by my side

George certainly loves long grass PosPuss. He definitely thinks that you can't see him and he can wait and ambush you as you go past. He plays the cat equivalent of hide and seek and thinks its good fun if he hears you say "Where's George gone" You can see the grass quiver and his tail twitch lol. I don't know who enjoys it most though, him or me.

Milly however has an identity crisis, she thinks she's a dog. If you throw her little toy mouse, she chases it and then brings it back and drops it at your feet and sits there until you throw it again I love 'em to bits x

MP. Millie's not that unusual with the fetching, two of mine have done it, and other members cats also. Cute, isn't it?

The perfect cat for camoflauge is a dark brindled tortie! I could often really not see Patches at all when she was sitting in dappled shade under the peony bushes!
