DM, the keeper you mention used to sit in the Gorilla house every day with that baby and it's mother and take him out for walks regularly until he got too big, obviously...
He had been the gorilla keeper for years and used to spend alot of time in with the gorillas. The mother didn't object to him feeding or cuddling the baby at all!
There are several lovely lawns and picnic areas there and they pride themselves on their plant and flower displays.
