Hello newbie here, just got my first two kittens :)

Hello,

I grew up with animals but never owned my own.

Yesterday I bought two kittens 8 weeks old.

So far I am delighted with Foxy and Smudge. Brother and Sister.

They was a bit sceptical an cautious but within hours they seemed rite at home. As I never owned pets myself I had nothing for them so went out and spent around £100. Now they have toys, scratch post, bed, ceramic bowls for drink/food, cat tunnel, a nice hooded litter tray, grooming brush etc.

I never slept a wink last night thinking of them, they have settled in well, they are using the litter tray, and eating dry food and some wet and drinking well to.

They are so loving and affectionate and they love having cuddles and cwtches all the time.

They both adore each other and both are always looking out for each other and playing with each other. If one of them are skeptical and won't do something the other one usually will and I can clearly see them both helping each other out, once one of them shows the other one something is okay they both do it together, for example using litter tray, playing on scratch post and playing with toys.

I have ordered several items online and can't wait to give them their first wash, they love being groomed, they don't mind me at all touching their paws which is great for clipping their claws.

I will be keeping them indoors so they will be house cats. Smudge is the mischievous one and likes to investigate everything and isn't scared to explore, Foxy just likes copying her brother an d thanks to Foxies brother she is now going to litter tray one her own and exploring on her own. Only owned then just over 24 hours and they are settled great already. They are much more adventurous and active today, and thy love following me to the kitchen specially where there treats are bless them.

Well that's a bit about my loving new family. Here are some pics. Smudge is male and the white kitten, Foxy is female the tortoiseshell colour.

They are gorgeous. They are like my little babies lol. They won't sleep unless they are snuggled together, if one is playing they call the other one and then thy will sleep but only together, they are mad, they play together all the time, and you can't part them, they are also watching out for each other.

Love them to bits.
