20 years young

Hi folks - long time no see.

Paddy is still with me. 20 years young - bit wobbly round the back end so I'm pragmatic but he's still leaping about and living life to the full.

Paddy is looking great Phil.He certainly doesn't look his age. I can remember wishing him a happy 19th birthday and it doesn't seem that long ago.
Happy 20th birthday, Paddy. Hope you got a special treat for your big day.

Re: 20 years young

Paddy has taken a turn for a worse over the last few weeks.

He's very thin and wobbly and suspect he's just not getting anything from the food he's eating.

Off to the vet later but being realistic - I think it's time to let him go.

Sorry to hear Paddy hasn't been to well, Phil.

The same thing happened to Cassie six months ago, same age as Paddy, and I had to let her go

Phil, I'm so sorry that Paddy is not doing so good. I'm saying a wee prayer for your beautiful boy today. Please let us know what the vet says.

That's sad news Phil. I hope Paddy can be with you a little longer. I had that with my first and dearest Persian. His back legs gave way after prolonged and unexplained weight loss and sadly his time was up.

Sorry for the late reply.

Last Friday the vet agreed and we decided to have him put to sleep.

Oh Phil, I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about Paddy. He was certainly a beautiful boy and I know you must miss him very much. Paddy is young again now and able to run freely once more. I'm thinking of you, Phil, at this sad time. All the best.

Rest in peace now, Paddy, little furry angel.
