4 weeks till I go on holiday!

DM asked where we were going so ....
Ferry from Plymouth to Santander, Northern Spain. 2 hour drive to French border (just south of Biarritz). 3 days meander across the Pyrennes, staying in Logis de France, one week in a gite near Perpignan, on the Med, then 3 days to meander back up to Cherbourg, ferry to Poole and home.
No plans, except to take a box of books. We will no doubt go to the sea and also visit some of the prehistoric cave sites etc in the south.
'Spect we'll stock up at the hypermarche in Cherbourg before we come home too!

Oh I am envious of all these lucky people going on holiday. That sounds like my kind of vacation (except not in France . . .

Ooooooooooo - that sound lovely DM. I like a holiday where there isn't really that much structure and you can do what you want when you want.

Have a fab time. Are you taking the dog/s??

No dog - kennels for her I'm afraid.
You can take dogs though - ferry etc - but have to do the Pet Passport/rabies etc procedure

I'm sure she'll have a lovely time on her own little holiday though.
