Wicken FenWe had a lovely walk around Wicken Fen yesterday. I HAD wanted to photograph birds but failed so had to make do with other wildlife

Wow, I love moles, they are so soft. I do believe they push up from their holes when there is a high tide, don't know if that's an old wives tale or not. Funnily enough we saw one on the surface a couple of weeks ago. The Highland cow is just like my old Gertrude. I hand reared her as a calf from a day old. She was a very dark red as a baby but almost blonde as an adult, this one looks just like her. |

I love photos like this, there's nothing as good as emersing yourself in nature for the soul. Someone tell that Highland cattle there IS something that would help with his vision, it's called a hairdresser! Dear Moley looks like a baby to me, how do you think he got so far on the decking?, bless him. I hope he made it back ok. |
