Found a fabaroony shopI want to get the girls a little desk each for christmas to sit & do their homework etc. A lot of the desks you see now are for PC's. I just want proper desks. I had a ride to a big staples store tonight & I loved it! Lots of desks & stationary. I even found a nice desk for my PC, maybe Santa will bring it for me  I want John to pop up there with me to see them all & choose the girls desks & I thought I'll get them some paper trays & pen pots & all desky stuff too.

We have got a Staples in Colchester, they are very good shops, usually find a bargain in there, I got my mum's xmas present in there this week (a filofax and it had 20% off) |

The girls will love that Smudgley! I can still remember when I had my first desk as a child ....... it made me feel so 'big'!!  |

What I think is really nice, is the fact that they have no idea they're getting them. They know what they want & they're having the stuff they've asked for, but they've never mentioned a desk & we've never mentioned it to them, so I think it will be great. I love stationary & I was surprised at how much variety & how reasonable they were in there. |

I too remember how excited I was about getting my first desk  Our Staples is a bit basic, huge and all, but I've never really seen gifts in there as such!!I'm sure the girls will love their presents - it'll make them feel so grown up . . . downside is there will be no excuse not to get homework done now  |
