Wet Friday Daily

Morning cat lovers

Yes its wet and windy again , Am hoping it's going to dry up a bit before I get the doggy out for a good old romp. Then its off to the vets for her booster and check up. After that, we may go visit a few people that I haven't seen in a wee while.

Have a nice day and I hope the weather is better where you are.

Re: Wet Friday Daily

Good morning Elaine been a while since you started the daily!! The weather is the same down here with wind and rain.

Enjoy your walk with Rayne. Hope she behaves at the vet!! I am working til 5pm then its home to relax!! Been a long week as work is really quiet.

My little black fur all is in the bad books today as I discovered blots of blood on my ironing board this morning which I believe belong to Skye as he had a go at her last night and there's a little bit at my side of the bed where Skye sits before we settle down.

Hope everyone has a good day and are safe and warm indoors x

Re: Wet Friday Daily

Morning Elaine, Pamela and those to come later.

A bit of a wild night here weather-wise but nice a sunny just now although worse is forecast for this afternoon.

Our fence panels have been tied up to trees and we have some clearing up to do outside but our gardening man hasn't arrived and it's unlike him not to phone, so I hope he's OK.

OH is out with the dogs just now. Dora managed yesterday to get a swollen paw, I haven't inspected it this morning but I guess it was well enough for her to go on her walk. I expect she just knocked it yesterday as we couldn't find anything obviously wrong.

Fingers crossed for Rayne, which reminds me I need to book Dora in for her boosters.

Have a good day folks, try and stay safe and dry!

Re: Wet Friday Daily

Greetings all, it's blowy and showery here with odd moments of calm. Have popped out earlier to Pets at Home for another big bag of Whiskas Dental. Pandora had a bit of tartar last time she was checked out and I don't want her to go down that route. The vet suggested toothpaste but she's not cooperative at all.

Thinking of my friends on the coast today, stay safe and warm x

Re: Wet Friday Daily

Well its blooming wild here now. Got Rayne out for a walk before the vet and think I got the best of the day, although it wasn't for long. Had to cut the walk short coz I was being blown all over.
Vet visit was erm... a kick in the teeth really. Ended up with urine samples, stool sample to be taken and sent off and an appointment with a cardio specialist as it now appears Rayne has a heart murmur on top of everything else.
She is fine for now and we can continue with agility etc as long as she remains well and doesn't show any signs of it getting worse.

Sorry to hear that about Rayne but knowing she will get the best of looking after makes it seem better. Agility training can only strengthen and enhance her heart but in moderation I guess. Hugs to you Elaine, it's never nice to hear things we don't want to about the health of our loved ones. x

Re: Wet Friday Daily

Sorry to hear about Rayne- that heart sink moment at the vets is horrible! Hope she continues to be well.

Wet one minute, dry the next here- VERY changeable but we are escaping the worst here in the East. Hope everyone is OK?

A housework day today but I'm leaving the living room till Sunday as the tree will stay up to the bitter end! It's a good one this year so we are making the most of it.

Hope hatches are well battened down!
