Re: Snoozy sunday

Morning Elaine and all who follow.......

Off to work about 3ish then there till just before midnight and I am cycling there Bank holiday tomorrow.

Had a really weird dream last night. Dreamt that a box arrived I opened it, then I opened it again, and again and again - no idea what was in it though.

Sorted a holiday for Sept, going to a friends villa in Spain
5th Sept, for a week. The villa belongs to a friend and including her there are 4 of us going. she and Chris are going for 3 weeks as Chris is ill and will be going there to recoup. Myself and Netty are going for a week Netty is the mother of my Godson David.
So thats one week sorted.

Have a good day all.

Re: Snoozy sunday

Hi Elaine, Kazz, those to follow. Cloudy and a bit cooler than the last few days: 22 C (72 F); doubt if it will make the predicted 30s this afternoon. Holiday here too Monday; we all have a long weekend. Nothing special going on, still boxing books; waiting for a grocery delivery.

Hope you have good luck at the boot sale, Elaine, Kazz, is it safe to bike home at that hour if the night??? Holiday plan sounds nice.

Enjoy the day ....

Re: Snoozy sunday

Hi all - another gloomy, cold, windy day here. I didn't get up until it was already afternoon. Had a poor night, so just caught up with sleep. Don't feel too bad now, just a bit "off" and tired still. Got very hot last night, so perhaps whatever it was has burnt itself out.

Kizzy, Pip and Monty are all fine and in various stages of eating and sleeping. No-one very keen on going out now but Pip (fairly sure it was Pip) had been out last night. OH found a headless bird outside the front door and a fat dead mouse in the kitchen.

Roast pork for supper tonight. With apple sauce!

Oh that roast pork sounds good, Angie! Glad you're feeling better after a restoring sleep! Do you ever make cranberry sauce: that's good with pork also; and I sometimes use it on a scone instead of jam.

Re: Snoozy sunday

Hello all, a domestic day today. Tried to find the leak from the washing machine and failed- again. It isn't very bad so we will probably just live with it! Skyped Mum and Dad after the 'Archers' (Sunday ritual, both Mum and I listen and have always spoken after the omnibus). Went shopping where I think we spent more on food for various animals than for us! Catfood, birdfood, extra apples to put out for badgers!

Hope the cycling goes well Kazz and that you find some bargains at the boot sale Elaine. I'm sure that Leia is supervising the boxes DM! Angie, hope you continue to feel better.
