Good news is we are taking Ella, bad news is, it wont be for a few weeks yet, so really not that bad is it.
Took G to see her yesterday and he was his usual arsey self, just kept saying that she'd be a really good cat for some one but not us
Any way on the way home I asked why she wouldnt be a good cat for us and he said we had lost too many in such a short space of time
. I reminded him that Woody was 15 years old, he died a few years before Winston. Winston died 4 years ago at the grand age of 21 and Eva was unfortunate to have died so young and the condition she had was rare in respect that the vets in Scotland that we delt with had only ever had two other cases like hers.
I told him that it would be very sad that if a few months down the line, we thought Bernie could do with a companion, we had lost out on one that was so like him in personality.
G became very thoughtful after this so I let it lie until this morning, then inquired if her had given it any more thought.
We then discussed the implications of insurance because she has a dodgy leg etc.
He then said, well if I dont say yes, I'm not going to hear the bloody end of it.
Now the next dilema is her name as she does not respond to Ella or anything else, she responds to anything ending in y.
