HarrisThought I would start a new thread instead of clogging up the daily!! Harris blood tests have come back. 1 count has stayed normal and the 1 that was still too high has come down but its still a bit high but the vet isn't too concerned as it is constantly dropping. he has also put a kilo of weight on in 4weeks which is great. The reason for him not eating is definitely a urinary tract infection so he is being sent home with more antibiotics with a check up planned for next week to see how he's doing. Soo glad its not the liver problem flaring up again.

Poor wee man ..... still glad it's not his liver playing up again. I hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and ease his cystitis. Chin tickles for Harris and (((hugs))) for you Pamela, I know how worrying poorly pets are. |

I am so pleased well not pleased he is unwell but pleased its not his liver flaring back up. Hope he is more comfortable soon water infections are very draining....poor lad. |

Seems he is improving tho Pamela so that's a positive. Hope you feel reassured, and the weight gain is fab  Give some Harris huggies from me too. xx |

It can take a good 6 months for the liver to fully recover but it will and it is so thats really good news xxx. Sorry about the UTI, my only advise is to keep trying to get as much fluids into him as you possibly can to maintain a good urinary tract. |

Cystitis is clearing. Antibiotics are finished tomorrow so as of then I would say yeh. Vet was really pleased with his progress in the last week. He's eating, playing, keeping barney in line and using the tray properly.  |
