Yes it was glass. If I had been standing directly in front of it, i would have been hit by some glass. Thankfully I had moved to get some kitchen roll to blow my nose What a fright though. Graham came running through. We got it all cleared up and put dinner in the bin. Graham said "The lengths you will go to, to get out of cooking dinner..." At which point we just looked at eachother and laughed. Its not funny but what else can you do? |

Certainly could have been Will be on the phone first thing tommorrow to the manufacturer. Have only had the oven 6 months I have never seen anything like that happen before in my life Am terrified to blow my nose again now incase something else blows up |

I have a SMEG cooker and it has happened twice to me. Thankfully it shatters into cubes like a car windscreen and not into sharp shards - I hope that's what your's did!!! It IS very frightening and it makes a really loud bang . . . glad you and the kits are OK though!! |
