Fun Day Out

Emma, my daughter, is 12 on April 7th.

I plan to take her and a friend (with my son) out for the day for birthday treats.

ANY IDEAS ON WHAT WE CAN DO?????

I have thought of all the obvious ideas, all the daft ideas and even the boring ideas, but now want GOOD ideas!!!

Re: Fun Day Out

We have Howletts Zoo not too far away. We have been there a few times, but could be worth another trip. Had forgotten about that. Thanks Mags.

If it is a good day then I dont mind being outside, but if it is cold... then it has to be something inside as I am so miserable when I am cold!!!!

Re: Fun Day Out

Are you close enough to a beach to take a throw-away barbie and have a crazy cold cook-out?
We had christmas dinner on the beach a couple of years back!

Re: Fun Day Out

A trip to London to Madame Tussauds? That was always a fave when we were kids.

A trip to a play for kids/the cinema followed by a lunch treat?

A ceramics/pottery class where a group of kids can learn to throw pots and can then decorate what they've made?

A flight on the London Eye followed by a trip to the Aquarium?

A river boat trip?

The London Dungeon?
