John Inman has diedActor John Inman has died at the age of 71. I thought he was a superb actor and really made his name in "Are you being served?". He was brilliant as a pantomime dame and I'm sure he will be greatly missed..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6429425.stm

The obits are talking of 'a long illness' so I'm glad for him that he's free of all that now. He was a wonderful screaming queen in Are You Being Served and apparently even better as Mother Goose in pantomimes. rip |
