HamsterI think I'm going to give in to Ashleigh & her begging for a hammy  On the condition that he lives in her room & the door stays closed when she's not in there so that the cats don't get to him.... poor little hammy would be breakfast for my lot.  So hammy it is, not sure when though & I haven't told her yet.

Hiya just popped on to PM you! We succumbed to the hamster thing in April, my son got one with his birthday money!!! Me and OH were reluctant, but I have to say he's a lovely little thing!!! We are all smitten!!! Here he is...Sulu! (As in Sulu from the Captain Underpants book, the bionic hamster, not Sulu from Star Trek (just incase Patch has followed me over here.....)  |

Thanks Dandysmum, hamsters make surprisingly good pets...bet Smudgley will be just as addicted as her daughter in no time..we fight over who gets to give Sulu his daily choc drop! |
