Kos Cat Rescue Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whilst staying at the Cleopatra Superior in Kos during June this year we came across a mother and her 3 tiny kittens, not in the best of health. Over the next 3 weeks between the two of us we fed them 4 times a day, made sure they had fresh water and generally kept an eye out for them. We then met other like-minded people who shared the feeding/caring. When looking into the life of a cat in Kos it appears that at the end of the season most of the hotels poison them, those that don't get poisoned often starve to death as the hotels and restaurants close for winter. Kittens born in the Spring very rarely make it through the Winter. We couldn't let this happen to this lovely little family of cats. Therefore myself and my friend Bev decided that we would bring them back to the UK, not an easy task. We have eventually managed to find someone who is willing to take them whist we can get them vaccinated, wormed and obtain passports for their flights home. At present we are still waiting to hear from airlines but have been told that this can be expensive, our cheapest quote at present is £1716 for all 4 cats. We would therefore ask if you can donate anything at all to help these poor kittys it would most certainly change their lives for the better.
