Thanks all- Tolly is still a handsome chap, however, it has to be said he's not the BEST string dispenser in the world. You are right Angie- lengths are different, slightly frayed and it can be painful persuading him to part with any.

Of course. Those bits of string you take are all interesting and wiggly, can't give those to a mere human as they are obviously cat toys. You can have the uninteresting non-moving bits.
