I would try saying no in a firm but not loud voice and stop stroking him for a moment. The more you do this he should eventually associate the two and hopefully will stop doing it. Good luck. |

Oli still does this now and he is 8 months old! When he bites or uses his claws I stop playing or stroking him. He is getting better, so it must be gradually working!! I think he will grow out of it eventually, after all, he is only a baby! |

When you play with your cats, do you use your hands as the toy as it were? Have you considered using the clicker training method? Withholding treats and using them for good behaviour? Bad behaviour met with a sharp OUCH! and walk away? Just a few thoughts. Hope it helps xxx |
