Bloody van!!!

The gears have gone!!!!
Had to call the RAC, was 12 miles outside of Aberdeen, fortunately it happened at Helens' house, was on my way to see to the parrots after a very long day walking dogs.
RAC have put tie wraps on to hold it together. Helen drove it back to Aberdeen, coz I am such a coward, with her partner following us. It's now parked up outside the garage, hope they can squeeze it in tomorrow and fix the damn thing.

Re: Bloody van!!!

Oh S*** Elaine. I had that happen to me in a Fiat Panda years ago - I was in a queue approaching a roundabout during rush hour traffic. Luckily a kindly couple took pity and helped me push the car to the side of the road and gave me a lift home. In the days before mobile phones too.

Hope it can be fixed fast. Can you borrow or hire another car?

Cars - they invariably let us down when we need them most! I hope it gets sorted soonest Elaine, and doesn't end up costing too much.
