Leg of lamb roasting in the oven, papers read, coffee being consumed, yes it's definitely Sunday and I'm still in my nightwear! Will go and get a shower in a minute once I've finished on here. The lounge is looking a bit cluttered so after lunch today I'll tidy a few things away, the fan's not going to be needed any more this year so can be put away somewhere, likewise the dog's spare basket that he doesn't use, and the pile of letters/bills/circulars on the mantle need sorting. Abit of a lazy day. |

Morning all. Well, two weeks ago OH 'gave' me two kittens. Today he 'gave' me his cold feeling pretty miserable but really want to get the grass cut. Will see how I feel after lunch. Kazz - I love that work, think it should be in common use. Most of the work I do in the garden just now seems to be under the condening banner. Pampering day sounds good Emma - enjoy (I'm sure that won't be hard ) We're having Pork for dinner tonight Mrs H, but have to admit I'd prefer lamb. Fancy a swop? You've made me lok over to my 'to do' paper pile on the coffee table. Enjoy the day peeps. |

Hello everyone, hope your enjoying your old fashioned Sunday, Kazz. Emma hope you have a good pampering day. MrsH hope you have a good sort out, i quite like doing that. CM, sorry you have a cold, tell your O/H you don't want it Been to a fun Dog show today in the local park, it was in aid of Dogs for the blind. Very good turn out so hopefuly they have made lots of money. Malaika won second for the Dog in best condition and a third for having the most appealing eyes. Competition was stiff but i think high fiving the judge helped. We met a man in a wheel chair with a Dog for the disabled. The Dog had been badly abused before he got him and he had to do a lot of rehabilitation work. Now he has a good Dog who is happy, cared for and able to help with household tasks. |

Hi people. Sunny but unseasonably chilly, only 20 C (67 F), have jeans, tee and sweater on. I know that probably doesn't sound chilly to you, but we've been in the low 30s for weeks so everything is relative! Warming up by mid-week. Was to the market and having a lazy day also. Tonight's dinner is that cabbage, bacon, mushroom and onion dish with rice, haven't had that for a while. Yummy. Kazz, enjoy a lazy Sunday, CM, sorry about the cold. Shelley, Malaika wins a lot, doesn't she, how nice for you. Emma, enjoy the pampering, MrsH, have a good tidy-up! Monday's a holiday here, long weekend! |

A bit of a nothing day today. After a very late night following a wonderul evening at Carter's Fair (the wall of death was mind-blowing), I stayed up late and watched a re-run of the Hancock drama with Ken Stott - excellent. As a result I didn't really surface til 9 this morning. Bit of shopping, bit of cooking (tomato soup, fruit for more pies, gluten free loaf) and a lovely roast beef with our own warm beetroot (it was a single monster beetroot, but did all 4 of us with some to spare) Boys are showered and are not watching Transformers and I've got a few minutes to myself to catch up online. |

Yola, your mention of Ken Stott has reminded me of a drama i watched several years ago about the Sally army, it was called promoted to glory and was realy enjoyable but sad. Has anyone else seen it, wish they would repeat it. Also your mention of Transformers reminds me of when my boys were little. |

If so then yes I have seen it and agree it was very good and should be repeated. |
