Hello cat lovers


Joined today as I have the most amazing cat who I love very much. Her name is Chloe and she is nearly 15 years old. Chloe was ill treated as a kitten and catnapped by my daughter, she has brought me many happy times and such a character. Recently she has become very unwell and a trip to the vets has revealed that she has a neurological problem and the vet has carried out various tests and she is now on antibiotics and steroids. The surgery called to say could we go and collect her as she was so upset and wouldn't eat and kept attacking the staff. Once Martin my partner went in and spoke to her she started purring and he brought her home. Its so hard to see her slowly getting worse but as long as she isn't in pain I want her to stay at home. We know she doesn't have long and we have considered what is best. Chloe has another appointment at the vets on Friday to see how she's progressing. Since she's been home she is settled, eating and we can continue to give her love and pray for her.

Hello to you and Chloe. Nice to hear that she's obviously happy and settled back with you at home. Best place for her probably. I do so hope that she improves on her medications.
