I hope they find a new home quickly. What will happen to the poor girlies if a home isn't found for them? Will they be PTS or what? |

It really makes my blood boil when people re-home their animals becasue they have had a baby. Poor, poor cats. I really hope a good home is found for them for their twilight years. |

I have heard and this might not be strictly true, that health visitors etc. spread scare stories about the risk to newborns from viruses that can be carried by animals, not just cats. If such understandable worries are not accompanied by sensible and rigorous instructions about cleanliness, then I can't really blame a new mum for putting her baby's needs above the pets. Of course it's possible to have a baby and cats, dogs and other animals - just ask our pinklizzy! But care does have to be taken and perhaps it's just too much to ask of some new mums. |
