She's ok but tired & sleepy. All the cats I take to be neutered - the only one I've had major problems with their stitches was my Smudge. She ripped them out on the way back from the vets, we took her back to be restitched. She then had a collar on, she still got them all out again. Took her back & had the wound stapled. Managed to rip the staples out. So we then left the wound open & gave her a course of antibiotics. Bluebell was also ripping at hers like crazy, so we've put her a collar on....I never have to use collars on the CP cats - how come my own are so difficult! |

Super Bluebell-lamp you have there . . . Poor girl. She must hate that. The one time I used a collar like that I had a seriously unhappy kitty |

I almost wish Leia had been able to take out her own stitches !! My friend that rehomed her thought it would be better for her to be spayed there down in the country by her own vet...so she came to me complete with ugly purple stitches which I had to take out myself...and I'm not too good at that sort of thing, was terrified I was going to stab her with the scissors , and she seemed to think it was a sort of tummy-tickling game and kept wiggling!!! Took three days, but finally got them out.......never again! |
