I'm here and ready. G&T to hand, but rather full as OH made a lovely veggie soup for supper tonight. Being full tends to make me sleepy!

I'm about to get my wine, it's just after 4 pm here. Soup sounds lovely; I'm trying Shelley's leek soup Friday.

RCR's thread about Chinese New Year has made me think .... a few years ago I went to the Royal Pavilion at Brighton which is decorated in a very Oriental way and saw in the gift shop some highly coloured Chinese New Year animal ceramics. I thought they were lovely, but couldn't pick which one I liked best. I've regretted not buying one since and I can't find them on the web. Only imported from Taiwan I think, but they were just so cheerful and just a nice size!

Hi CM - I hope it's nice ham! I always wonder how the French can get such nice ham whilst ours is plastic and tasteless generally. Perhaps Scottish ham is nicer!

Sorry Eileen - hi! Not sure I could drink wine at 4 in the afternoon. Have your clocks gone forward yet?
