hello everyone

My name is Anne really and the cats are sylvester and tweety. Sylvester came to our house 5 weeks ago and he is now 7 months old, we got him from the cats protection and he is gorgeous, Tweety came to our house a week ago and he is 11 weeks old he also came from cats protection but has had a number of health problems including being both sexes - yes he has both bits of tackle!!!. Anyway I have joined this forum because I have never had cats before and this is all very new to me I have read a few postings and have got some answers to some things but I have lots more to ask!
any ways nice to meet you all

Anne

Re: hello everyone

Hello and welcome. Oooh, CP cats, yay lol. There are a few fosterers and home visitors for the CP on here so we always like to hear about rescue cats! Sylvester and Tweety sound wonderful, and for about 6 weeks I didn't know whether I had a male/female cat as she appeared to have both 'bits' lol, but she turned out to be a girl (obv). Please ask away with any questions, there's usually someone who can help. Look forward to hearing more form you.

Re: hello everyone

hi kelly
cp and the vets are struggling with this one, he was abandoned with his 5 syblings who proceded to try and suckle on his bits thinking that they would get milk from him, this has resulted in him being malformed in that area. The vets know he def has testicles but reckon that he will need both ops to neuter him
