Hello Catsey members
I'm Nette, I have always been a doggie lover, never without a faithful sheepdog at home and an assorted following of JackRussels in the extended family. My hubby breeds exhibition budgerigars, so a cat was the last companion we ever thought w'd have!!
At the end of November, on a particularly wet & stormy night, we took in bedraggled longhaired fluffy cat.She had been straying in our area for a fortnight ( we found out later). Despite out best attempts to find her old home ( flyers, vets, CPL, RSPCA police etc) we grew to love her and wanted to give her a home with us. She is a beautiful friendly lady-cat, the vet says no more tha 2 years old. We love her to bits! Not yet spayed as we have recently found out coz she is calling like mad ( escape routes all secured
) but we have fed her up, wormed , defleaed and given her lots of TLC.
I hope to be on this forum a long time with you. As a new to cats person I know you can help me with my new baby.
We have called her POSH, coz she is!
Thanks for listening, oh, and she brngs a whole new meaning to the words, Season's Greetings"
