Thoroughly miserable weather here so no gardening, or anything else outdoorish today. Think I'll just curl up with a book.

Well im still waiting for my better half to come back with some bacon as I really fancy a bacon sarnie
Peanuts is very vocal today for some reason and Snoopy legged it at 8.30 this morning and I havn't seen her since so I know she's up to something , but the weather is good, the washing's out and if it stays nice I might take the dog to the beach.
Hope you all have a good day xx

Re: Daily Thread - Bank Hol Monday

Pouring with rain and blowing a gale here I've just come back from the gym (and stopped off to get a chicken for roast dinner tonighton the way back). Am just having a quick look in here whilst eating a light, late breakfast (low fat cream cheese with a slice of salmon on rye bread and a glass of orange juice) and then I'm into the shower.

OH has walked the boys into town just called him and they're sat in starbucks tucking into various assortments of hot chocolate, smoothie and espressos

Not much else planned today. Probably have to sit through Spiderman again . . . not that I mind, Tobey Maguire (and to a lesser extent Willem Dafoe) make very pleasing eye candy

Re: Daily Thread - Bank Hol Monday

Now you are all making me jealous......I have just been out rescuing next door driveway gate it blew off in the wind...due mostly to Lee (15 year old next door) not securing it when he got his bike in I think....he is on his on his Mom and Grandparents are out.............so we rescued the gate all 6fthigh by about 5ft wide and now a couple of chaps who live inthe road are rescuring it....may have to be a trip to BQ to get more wood I think as the framework has been ripped away.....unsure yet. Lee is in a panic cause his grandad will go bonkers...............

And to top it off further up their rabbit has escaped into the road..........their old rabbit did this before but this oen is only about 5 months old and very jumpy....off out to see if they have rounded him up.

I've just got up Feeling a bit better today so I think I'll attempt some gentle housework!
Grey and very windy here, really fancy a trip to the local garden centre but it's about a 2 mile walk but I don't think I'm up to that at the moment-and I don't want to end up back in the hospital!
Hope you all have a great Bank holiday!

Re: Daily Thread - Bank Hol Monday

Oh dear Kazz.

I'm on my own, catching up on jobs & tinkering on Casey inbetween. (Or is it sitting on Casey & tikering with jobs inbetween)

I've realiased just how easy it is being on your own. I've never lived on my own, and wouldn't want to peranently but must admit I am enjoying not having to worry about other peoples needs (John & girls gone away for a week)

Weather is rubbish, very windy.

Re: Daily Thread - Bank Hol Monday

Right I am off out back shortly the rabbit has apparently done a runner..... .....I imagine their will be raised voices later as the children let it out......they are not supposed to let it out of the run area unless the back gate is closed. Next doors gate is back on and Lee is over the moon his grandad may not find out I have told him to tell him as someone will.............I have told him I will mention it got so windy...nothing could have prevented it..."apart of course from using the side gate and leaving the big one closed" which he oculd have done but hey ho....off out now anyone living local look out for a flying blue rover not sure the car will stay on the floor in this weather....where is chitty chitty bang bang when you want it...........see you later Kelly I have replied I will be back later.
