We went to a fun dog show today!Held in aid of Lurcher Rescue and it was the first time Monty had been anywhere with so many dogs or people in the same place at once. It was a very hot and windy day, but the park where the show was situated had lots of shady places to sit luckily when dogs/people were not in the ring. OH and Monty entered two classes .....      Monty got a 5th in Best Puppy and 1st in ........ Dog who looks most like it's owner  (I'm waiting for either Monty or OH to attempt to bribe me NOT to tell the cats!)

How interesting. I had no idea dog shows were ever held outdoors! Mental images of Crufts and Westminster had come to mind, but smaller. Looks like a nice day, and that fun was had by all; congrats to OH and Monty. And definitely don't tell the cats~! Especially as you have yet to go to a cat show! Tsk!  |

 Eileen ..... cat shows seem to be rare around here, but I do keep a look out. Kizzy would be too scared poor darling, but Pip is chilled enough. Sad now he's lost his looks with his scratched nose, but I'm hoping that the mark will eventually go - it's healed well enough. |

Oh I meant for you to just go, not take the cats! Kizzy would hate it; Pip might be OK in the household pet section, but I'm sure he'd rather be home in the garden anyway. Does he have a scar on his little pink nose? |
