AmaryllisMy first Amaryllis has flowered. This is 'Red Peacock' It has 6 florets to open.  Oops as I was taking this Kinsi decided to attack it. (now only has 5 florets - wee monster)  Other two still progressing. One won't be too long. The 3rd is only about 2 inches high. Growing v slowly.

She generaly is not too bad. I think it was because my camera on autofocus has a wee red light that shines on the focus area and she just couldn't resist. Have to admit I was a bit (quite a big bit actually) annoyed at her. C'est la vie I suppose. |
