It did work Eileen

I heard this on the radio the other day. I am mainly a coffee drinker but have milk in both my coffee and tea when I have it. I could drink coffee black but could never drink tea black....yuk!

Re: Do you take milk with your tea?

I have milk in 'breakfast' tea (though I'm a coffee drinker by choice) but enjoy plain green tea and love black tea after Chinese food.

(But don't you think if you listened to all the 'it's good for your health/it's not good for your health' propoganda you'd never know what to eat or drink?)

Re: Do you take milk with your tea?

That's interesting, but I couldn't drink my tea black.......noooooo way!!!

In fact I love milky tea!!!! I never let it brew for too long and then add loads of milk. It's actually probably more like hot water and milk with a splash of tea!!!! lol

Re: Do you take milk with your tea?

I drink black tea and black coffee with no sugar in either

Both my parents and my brother were black tea drinkers too. We started drinking it that way in my childhood days and I can remember nothing else....

What I can't stand is when I am out and someone puts milk in the cup first without realising, I say no milk thank you, they then just tip the milk out of the cup and fill it with tea. Yuk!! I can taste the milk that was in that cup and no way can I drink it

I now drink green tea black, if you know what I mean!

Re: Do you take milk with your tea?

The thought of tea or coffee with milk simply makes me want to gag . . . I don't really drink ordinary tea anyway - herbal infusions or green tea. If pushed I will have earl grey with or without lemon; but very weak.

I guess it's just what we get used to over time isn't it?
