I love poppies too. That looks quite Mediterranean in the bright sun Kazz. I agree with you that small gardens are generally better without grass |

There were some lilac ones flowering yesterday on my walk with Sebi and they were stunning! I too think the best thing I did was get rid of the grass in our back garden. It was either waterlogged or parched |

Definitely a Mediterranean look; your garden is lovely. The poppies are stunning, and we've already admired that rose. What a lot of work and thought has gone into that. I agree 100% about grass ...best thing I did in mine was having the flagstone patio put in. |
