Buying Petrol by a card.I checked my online banking today and found i had being given a bank charge. I checked again and saw it was dated 25th April. They hadnt put it in till the 2nd sep which is over 4 1/2 months. They are aloud to do this it can be upto 6 months. My bank refunded my charges which i am grateful for. I spoke to the manager of the store, head office and then this afternoon i got a call and has a good will gesture got a £10 gift card. I am annoyed that i was charged now because in April the funds where in. Please be careful if any of you have had charges and check the dates of them. Its a very well known store as well.

Cautionary tale! But at least you got the charges reversed, and the gift card...good public relations! I don't bank online, but always check the charges on my credit card statements carefully. You never know ..... |

i dont use credit cards. refused them time n time again. use my cash card (inside the bank) to draw money. im so worried about fraud. ive got a good credit rating and want to keep it  |
