damm cat kept me awake 1/2 the night,so hes in the dog house today.

I have done a little already. But tbh I love shopping nearer Christmas. The atmosphere is great, really Christmassy. I think you miss out on that if you shop too early

I'm like that too, I go out on Christmas eve about 3ish and thats me til I'm done. Like you PK I just love the atmosphere

Feel as though I'm getting my breath back now, after the helter-skelter of yesterday.

Have been to the farmers' market and got lots of good produce so am going to spend the weekend bulk-cooking and freezing to be a personal 'meals on wheels' for the crumblies.
Mum's feeling better - managed a good sleep till 2am at least and napped after. This splint she's got is good because she can take it off to wash etc - she was up before the 'getter-upper' called to see to dad so they didn't offer to dress her too!
Sun is shining weakly but I've got a nice fire going - just a bit of pampering!
