Okay, my cat's sleeping too. I did have a look on the internet, and it says brown flecks in a cats eye could be age related and another reason from the holistic philosophy, indicate something wrong with the cat's health. I like to think my cat's brown flecks in her eye are age - related. I remember writing on my Catsey introduction, that the cat was about five years old but on reflection (time passes so quickly), she came to me when she was about two years old and that was in the summer of 2004! |

Sometimes cats health can be indicated through their eyes but there is usually other symptoms along with it. For instance if the 3rd eyelids are showing and the cat is lethargic, has a runny nose etc etc. The flecks you talk about do come with age and can also be an indication of hyper tension for example, but again there are usually other symptoms to consider. |

I thought Missy's third eyelid was showing yesterday but she wouldn't let me look & she was off her food. She's had a little today but is asleep now. It's her 8th birthday today. I sang happy birthday but I don't think she was impressed... |
