Energy saving light bulbshttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...-room-now.html Are you aware of the dangers with these "envornmentally" friendly items? I saw a leaflet today of a seriously burned foot caused by a shard of glass which came from an energy saving light bulb, it was horrific! The mercury burned a hole almost clean through this guys foot.

Normally I'm all for ecologically good and green, but don't mess with my light bulbs, please .... they just are NOT as bright, although they supposedly are. |

I know they aren't good for migraines of which I get far too often, grrr.. and I am all for green living so I try and sit as far away as possible from them, that and my laptop and sunshine are triggers. I also seem to remember an article a while ago whereby a proff. sweared blind that these bulbs were making him ill after being near one for just a few minutes. He was trying to get the government to have concessions for people who suffer regularly from things such as migraines.. So for all those who want ordinary light bulbs in the future just ask and I'll see what I can do..! |
