Brrrrrrrr what a cold morning! Everywhere was white this morning covered in frost and temp reading at -1

Still feeling rough today and hardly any voice.......bet OH is pleased!

It is indeed cold, frosty and bright today. I have a friend coming over from Wimbledon to see me. Just waiting for her to call from Paddington so I can set off and meet her at the main line station.

Hopefully we'll grab some lunch and catch up lots and PRAY Sebatsian will behave himself as he's done nothing but puke, poo and scream all morning so for

Just doing some last minute packing for hubby, making sure we've got everything packed for him. It is bloomin freezing here tho, frost on the ground but the sun has started to shine through and it's a lovely day.

Afternoon ladies-bitter cold sunshine today, but cor its freezing!!
Just getting a bite too eat then off to get a few bits of shopping for G-gran and go spend afternoon with her, shes been most unwell for a while and has ran out of 'supplies', need to get some nice smelly flowers too.
Was meant to pop over and see kittens today but haven't got time with one thing n another, so this is a fleeting catsey visit!

Cold here too, but beautiful clear sky. Didn't sleep well - cold feet, so first job this morning was looking out the winter duvet and bringing it back into service.

Have walked to town, got some fish for tonight at the market (red mullet - mmm) and thrown some stale bread at the ducks and swans!
Mixed veg soup cooking for lunch - can you smell it? - smells good!

Brrrrr it was freezing white everywhere this morning, had to de-ice the car.

Lovely Winter Sun now, but still very chilly, since coming home from work heating has gone on.

Had a nice afternoon with gran..we looked through caparious photo albums and boxes of photographs-found four pictures from roughly 140 odd years back-of g-grans great grandparents! They were the owners of some shop chain down in Aberdare all those moons ago, saw some of when gran n grandad (departed now) were married...various other weddings, anniversarys, birthdays, partys, holidays, and the infamous sundays when the house were brimming with people...all seems so far away now.
Cor its pitch black outside!! and freezing to boot, weather must be bad as Clementine hasn't protested about not going out..

Evening all, we didn't have a frosty morning, in fact we had a beautiful sunny day, not warm, but not freezing either...

evening all. beautiful, if very cold, day here today. got some washing out and it mostly dried. Raechel had a riding lesson today, so got to wear her new jodphurs at last. heating not been off all day.

I had a lovely day!! Sebastian behaved himself and we managed a lovely lunch n chat at Carluccios (enough space for a pushchair there).

Broken fridge latest . . . John Lewis took up our case with 'the Korean manufacturer' and the senior personnel that they emailed didn't bother to respond - shy am I not surprised? So as a result, the Reading branch has just decided to discontinue stocking their product . . . in it's entirity with a recommendation to central buying to do likewise OMG . . we're going to have Korean Triads on our doorstep at this rate
