Chloe and I...would like to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to help us over the last few days. And to show how grateful we are, I have allowed a photograph of me (with the dreaded glasses) to be taken   No sniggering girls

Donna - you look lovely! It really is a superb picture, you look so happy and relaxed!! And the glasses??? Well to be honest they are very unobtrusive . . . obviously to you they look highly visible, but they really are quite flattering to your face! Thank you for having the trust and confidence to show us your (dreaded) picture Chloe, by the way looks rather fetching too  |

Oh thank you all girls!!! Chloe and I do appreciate all your help and advice... I am getting better with the glasses. Have worn them most of the time over the last few days (just popped to the corner shop without them) and I am slowly getting used to the strange contraption stuck on my face! I am starting to not "see" the frames when I am looking as I am used to it being there. Still not 100% but better than the day I had to collect them from the opticians. |
